 Connswater Shopping Centre Belfast aids ADD-NI and our Petitioning Efforts

“We need as much support as possible to make this aim become a reality.”

We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Connswater Shopping Centre, Connswater Staff and all Connswater Shoppers for helping support our Petition to improve the understanding of AD/HD among educators in the Northern Ireland education system. 

The petition aims to help protect the rights of children and young people with Attention Deficit Hyper-activity Disorder (AD/HD) within the Northern Ireland education system with the following aims & projected outcomes:

- achieve a higher level of understanding about AD/HD especially among those in educator roles

- for AD/HD to be recognised as often requiring accommodations to be made within an educational setting

- ensure that the effects of AD/HD on a young person are managed in a way that enables each individual to reach their full potential
