ADD-NI has a magical visit from Santa

The magic of Christmas has swept across ADD-NI Children’s Charity with a memorable visit from Santa Claus.

An enchanted North Pole magically appeared at the support centre as young people came to make sure Santa had all the presents they have requested for this Christmas. Santa was delighted to see so many young people and spent time chatting to the children about how good they have been this year. He also shared that he gets very frustrated when people do not understand AD/HD and that it is a very misunderstood condition. Santa understands AD/HD and knows how difficult it can be, especially at school, but that there are many positive things to having it. During a story he told one of the young people, that Rudolph might have AD/HD as he has so much energy and always thinks of new ideas of how to deliver presents. He also said that his Elves have been very busy making and sourcing toys as the boys and girls at ADD-NI have been so good that extra helpers have had to be recruited so to ensure all presents are made and delivered.

We are also delighted to announce that Emily aged 7 won the family tickets to see Aladdin at the Waterfront Hall as part of our free draw with every visit to see Santa.

All the staff at ADD-NI would like to thank Santa for his time especially at such a busy time of year and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The centre will be closed from Friday 23rd December & re-opens on Thursday 5th January 2012.
