ADHD Practitioner - (full time post 35 hours per week)

 

ADD-NI Children’s Charity is NI’s Leading ADHD Charity. Supporting and empowering children, young people and families affected by ADHD since 1997.

 

Location: Based in ADD-NI’s Carryduff Office and other sites as required

Salary: NJC Scale 2020/21 Spinal Point 20 – 25 (skill/experience dependent) 

Commencing: 1stJune 2021 (flexible) 

Contractduration3 years(funded by The National 

Lottery Community Fund NI Tackling ADHD: Young People Taking Charge)

 

We require an experienced, skilled and motivated person to integrate into our existing therapeutic staff team. 

 

The key objective of this position is to assist in the provision of a high quality service to effectively meet the needs of children, young people and their parents/careers, who are affected by AD/HD. 

 

The applicant must have significant experience of direct work with children and young people with AD/HD in a group work setting, an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues they face and associated conditions. 

 

Applicants should hold a relevant qualification at degree level or above, with postgraduate level preferred. 

 

The post holder will be involved in frequent evening work and travel as required.
